Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tuncay

President of the Turkish Arthroplasty Association

Профессор, доктор медицинских наук Ибрагим Тунджай — ведущий турецкий специалист в области ортопедии и травматологии с более чем 28-летним опытом работы. Специализируется на хирургии тазобедренного и коленного суставов, эндопротезировании, артроскопии, органосохраняющей и реконструктивной хирургии. В 2016–2022 годах занимал должность проректора Университета Безмиалем Вакыф, а также возглавлял кафедру ортопедии и травматологии. Проходил научную стажировку в Sinai Hospital (США) и являлся приглашённым профессором ведущих клиник США и Германии. В 2013 и 2018 годах представлял Турцию в качестве официального делегата на Международном консенсусе по перипротезной инфекции (ICM, Филадельфия, США). Автор многочисленных научных публикаций, глав специализированных изданий и обладатель патента. С 2023 года работает в клиниках Acıbadem Maslak и Acıbadem Fulya (Стамбул).

Prof. Dr. Burak Akan

Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, specialist in arthroplasty and sports surgery

Профессор, доктор медицинских наук Бурак Акан — ведущий турецкий специалист в области ортопедии и травматологии с более чем 24-летним опытом работы. В 2019 году получил звание профессора ортопедии и травматологии. Специализируется на спортивной травматологии, артроскопической хирургии плечевого и коленного суставов, первичном и ревизионном эндопротезировании тазобедренного и коленного суставов, включая лечение перипротезной инфекции и двухэтапное ревизионное эндопротезирование. Является членом международных и национальных профессиональных обществ, включая SICOT, TOTBİD, ESSKA, TUSYAD и TOTEK. Автор многочисленных научных публикаций по вопросам артроскопии, спортивной травматологии и эндопротезирования суставов. С 2023 года работает в сети клиник Acıbadem Healthcare Group (Анкара).

Prof. Dr. Çağatay Uluçay

Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Head of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Clinic (Istanbul)

Профессор, доктор медицинских наук Чагатай Улучай — ведущий турецкий специалист в области ортопедии и травматологии, хирургии тазобедренного и коленного суставов с более чем 25-летним опытом работы. Окончил медицинский факультет Стамбульского университета, специализацию по ортопедии и травматологии завершил в Научно-исследовательской больнице Гёзтепе. Проходил международные стажировки (Fellowship) по хирургии позвоночника и артропластике в ведущих зарубежных клиниках, в том числе в Erasme University Hospital (Бельгия). В 2014 году получил звание доцента, в 2021 году — профессора. В 2007–2018 годах являлся преподавателем медицинского факультета Университета Едитепе, с 2021 года преподает в Университете Фенербахче. Является членом AAOS, EFORT, TOTBİD, TOTEK, TUSYAD и других международных профессиональных обществ, автором многочисленных научных публикаций и участником международных клинических исследований. С 2018 года возглавляет собственную клинику ортопедии и реабилитации в Стамбуле, специализируясь на эндопротезировании, артроскопии и хирургическом лечении заболеваний тазобедренного и коленного суставов.

Prof. Rashid Tikhilov

Director, Vreden National Medical Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics; Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Professor, MD, PhD, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Vice-President of the Russian Association of Traumatologists and Orthopedists. Director of the Vreden National Medical Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics since 2003. Under his leadership the centre built a complete system of hip surgery — from joint-preserving procedures to revision arthroplasty in severe deformities — and pioneered patient-specific implants based on 3D printing, alongside biofilm research for the prevention of periprosthetic infection. Founder of the Russian joint arthroplasty registry. In 2013 he was the sole delegate from Russia at the International Consensus Meeting on periprosthetic joint infection in Philadelphia and edited the Russian editions of its proceedings. An active surgeon performing around 450 operations a year. Author of more than 700 publications and 56 patents; editor-in-chief of the journal Traumatology and Orthopedics of Russia.

Nikolay Nikolaev

Chief Physician of the Federal Centre of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Arthroplasty (Cheboksary), Head of the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Emergency Medicine at Chuvash State University

Doctor of Medical Sciences, surgeon, healthcare manager, Chief Physician of the Federal State Institution "Federal Centre of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Arthroplasty" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Cheboksary), and Head of the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Emergency Medicine at Chuvash State University. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Economics of Chuvash State University, followed by postgraduate studies at the Research Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery. Rose from a nurse and pediatric surgeon to a department head at the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Chuvash Republic. He has led the Center since 2008, and in 2014 defended his doctoral dissertation on the establishment of high-tech medical care centers. Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation and the Chuvash Republic, Honorary Citizen of Cheboksary, awarded the Medals of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II Class and "For Merit to the Chuvash Republic". Author of more than 150 scientific publications, 10 patents for inventions, and 5 rationalization proposals.

Prof. Igor Shubnyakov

Chief Research Fellow, Vreden National Medical Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics, MD, PhD

MD, PhD, orthopaedic trauma surgeon of the highest category and professor at the Department of Hospital Surgery with a course in Traumatology, Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University. More than 25 years in the specialty: he began at the Vreden Institute in emergency trauma, served on the urgent hip arthroplasty team for proximal femoral fractures, headed the septic osteology department, acted as the institute’s academic secretary, and has been Chief Research Fellow since 2016. His interests cover hip arthroplasty and joint-preserving surgery, epidemiological research, quality of life and long-term outcomes, and the treatment of periprosthetic infection. Author of more than 260 scientific works and co-author of reference manuals on hip arthroplasty and hip surgery, as well as the national manuals on traumatology and orthopaedics.

Aleksey Belokobylov

Head of the Republican Arthroplasty Center, N.D. Batpenov NSCTO, MD, PhD

MD, PhD, physician of the highest qualification category, head of Orthopaedics Department No. 4 and of the Republican Arthroplasty Center at the N.D. Batpenov National Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics. He has worked at the centre since it was founded in 2001 and has specialised in joint arthroplasty for the past twenty years. He trained in clinics across Russia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Poland and Türkiye. Honoured with the badge "Distinguished Healthcare Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and a Certificate of Honour from the President of Kazakhstan; laureate of the Al-Farabi State Prize in Science and Technology. Author of more than 50 scientific publications and over 20 patents.

Kairat Ashimov

Head of Orthopaedics Department No. 3, N.D. Batpenov NSCTO, MD, PhD

MD, PhD, orthopaedic trauma surgeon of the highest qualification category, senior research fellow and head of Orthopaedics Department No. 3 at the N.D. Batpenov National Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics. Forty years in trauma and orthopaedics. He specialises in arthroplasty of the large joints and in revision hip and knee arthroplasty. Laureate of the Al-Farabi State Prize in Science (2015) and Distinguished Healthcare Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Author of numerous publications and a regular participant in international conferences and congresses.

Has over twenty years of medical experience, specializing in primary and revision major joint arthroplasty, bone defect reconstruction, diagnosis and treatment of periprosthetic joint infection (PJI), and rehabilitation of patients with knee osteoarthritis (gonarthrosis). Serves as a speaker at international and Russian scientific-practical conferences, and acts as an international scientific consultant and reviewer for PhD dissertations.
